dining in montreal
my favourite haunt in old montreal is marche de la villette. charchuterie, local cheeses, fine french bread. this place is the real thing, and as close to france as i'm likely to get at least within the next year. it is a tiny, busy quaint corner, where strangers share tables and laughs, the servers smile and joke with the customers, the patrons devour the delicious food and the positive energy. what more could one want on a saturday afternoon?
